Hello. I've registered to seek some advice regarding this topic.
I own a Samsung Galaxy Tab4 7' rooted. I've been trying to get Jeppesen TC to work with my PC database or an Ipad update and so far I couldn't do it.
Here's the summary of what I could find so far:
- For some users of older versions of the .apk (1.2.0.11) the process was straightforward and well documented on previous threads: root the device, install the .apk found online and copy the files of the ipad database update to the /data/data/com.jeppesen.android.tc/files folder.
- user joedeelee on reply #94 provided a method for the current version of jeppesen TC (1.2.0.13) but it seems to rely on the older .apk folder structure to insert the files. I have 1.2.0.13 installed and the only place on both /sdcard and /(root) that I can find any folder belonging to Jeppesen app is on /sdcard/download/com.jeppesen.android.tc, and inside that folder there are two empty folders: /coverages and /docs.
- Some posts suggest copying some files that I don't have on my Ipad update (last cycle) nor on my TermCharts PC folder (working), all related to VFR charts: vfrapts.dbf, vfrcharts.bin, vftchrts.dbf, vfrntms.dbf, vfrntms.dbt. I've run a search on my PC and I don't have them.
So, my question is: is there any user running this app with today's version? I know joedeelee said it was indeed version 1.2.0.13. If so, can someone please clarify the steps regarding the folder structure we have to create in order to get this working?
